I was teamed with the Canyon XC department to help conceptualize what the next gen LUX would look like. I worked with the MTB design Lead Peter Kettenring to focus the styling direction, to make a lightweight and highly focused XC weapon. Surprisingly after the design was launched, Mathieu van der Poel decided to race the XC WorldCup tour on the design and un-surprisingly won a few races on it. A dream come true! The design has now been eclipsed by the latest generation LUX WC.
