Ideation

3D Modeling
We work in Rhino and Alias 3D because it provides the highest quality surfaces. Stop fighting engineering software! We can produce 3D surfaces faster and to a high level than Solidworks
Rendering
Grey objects on a screen can be difficult for some to visualize within your company, or to VC’s. We can finish off 3D models with a high level of realism in multiple views and variations, saving time and money, compared to large render studios
Creative Direction
Want the expertise, but have your own team in-house? We can provide direction for a single project or an entire brand through the whole process and bring it up a level, based on our experience
3D Printing
We have the capacity to print designs in-house with our Ultimaker FDM printer. This allows a faster turn around time and more confidentiality on your projects
Mold/ Manufacturing Design
We want to use the products we help design, therefore we have the skillset to plan and build products that meet manufacturing requirements in composites, injection molding and metals.
Virtual Reality Design
Verifying designs of large objects and spaces can be difficult to understand on just a screen. We have a VR headset to review designs in 1:1 and offer inputs to the design process and confirm design intention is compete.
Process
1. Strategy and Inspiration
Product requirements and design inspiration are reviewed and planned
2. Rough Ideation
We design in simple views like a side view to push out ideas fast
3. Basic 3D Modeling
We then take the chosen sketch or sketches and roughly build them up in 3D
4. High Fidelity Ideation
These rough 3D files are then sketched over in perspective.
5. Refined 3D Modeling
A final design is chosen and then modeled in 3D with a focus on surface quality and production
6. Design Review
During the 3D stage, stakeholders review the design at certain stages to know progress
7. Rendering
Once the 3D is done, final renders are produced for internal or external promotion
